Our Staff

Thank you for visiting the RV section of our Web Site. We are John and Sharon Baker, Alaska residents and owners of both Afishunt Charters and Alaskan Angler RV Resort.

John is a retired Air Force Lt. Col. fighter pilot and Sharon has spent her prior career managing medical laboratories. We both have graduate level degrees in management and are Certified Park Operators. We are avid fishermen and RVer's, and are members of the Ninilchik, Kenai, Soldotna, and Seward chambers of commerce. We belong to the Alaska Travel Industry Association, the National Association of Charterboat Operators, the Alaska Charter Association, the Deep Creek Charterboat Association, the Seward Charter Association, the Alaska Campground Owners Association, and the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.

We have traveled nearly every road in Alaska in several different types of RVs, and have traversed the Alaska Highway (AlCan) many times. John has been the president of the Alaska Campground Owner’s Association four times. We have the experience, education, and training to answer your questions about RVing to and in Alaska.

Kristy, Dionne and our other coworkers will be happy to help you check in and get settled into your site. They also provide services such as vacuum packing and shipping your prized catch of fish and clams.
