Afishunt Charters is a member of the National Association
of Charterboat Operators, the Alaska Charter Association, the Deep Creek Charterboat Association, and the Seward Charter Association. We have the finest combination of youth,
experience, enthusiasm, and expertise on the peninsula. Our crew of eleven
includes five saltwater captains, two river guides, and four deckhands.

Saltwater Captain and Owner: John
Baker
John was a fighter pilot in the USAF for
20 years and has been a USCG Master-licensed mariner for 17 years. He has now
captained over 1,700 charters in his fishing career. |

Saltwater Captain: Arthur
Schwartz
Arthur is a 13 year Alaska resident
and guide. He holds a 100 ton masters license and has captained charters in
Cook Inlet, Prince William Sound, and the North Gulf Coast waters. For the 2009 season he is captain of the HARD EIGHT.

Saltwater Captain: Bryan
Kirby
Bryan has been in the fishing business for over 13 years having first worked in his father's charter company
and now for us for five years. He is a schoolteacher who captains in his summer time off.
Bryan is a masters licensed captain and is primarily assigned to the VOYAGEUR but
also is relief captain on all the saltwater boats.

Saltwater Captain: Bob Murphy
Bob hails from Oregon and spends his winters there running his own fishing business.
Each summer he travels to Alaska to skipper for halibut. He holds a USCG Master license
and is captain of the EXCITER for the
2009 season. He worked for us in 2006 then went to Elfin Cove in SE Alaska for two years. We are happy to have him back. |

Saltwater Captain: Allen Dodd
Allen is from the very dry state of Wyoming but comes to the very wet state of Alaska because he loves to fish and teach others to fish.
Allen holds an OUPV Coast Guard license and is captain of the AFISHUNT II for the
2009 season. We are excited about his joining our team. |

River Guide: Elad Sharony
Elad is an Israeli citizen that has
guided drift boats and power boats for us on local rivers for the past seven years. He holds a USCG
Operator of Uninspected Vessels license and is licensed for both the Kenai and
Kasilof Rivers.
