2010 two fish halibut limit still preserved in our
area!
As you may know, commercial fishing interests have worked tirelessly to erode
your right to catch your halibut in Alaska. (see our links page for a website that explains what has happenned) Unfortunately, they have succeeded in
Southeast Alaska, known as fishing area 2C. In that area, which includes Juneau, Sitka, Ketchican, etc.
anglers on guided charter halibut boats can only retain one halibut per day.
In our area, known as fishing area 3A, the limit will remain unrestricted two halibut per day per person.
2010 Earlybird pricing available.
As you know, fuel prices have started climbing back up after receding in 2009. We expect fuel prices
to be very high again in 2010 and the industry will likely have to raise prices in the
next season. We will honor present low prices for those who book before the season starts.
Check out our earlybird package pricing by going to our fishing section and clicking on our "Packages & Specials", "Packages" page.
New lodging available at
Alaskan Angler Resort
Alaskan Angler RV Resort has added more new style
lodging units for 2009. We have added more Fairmont Park model cabins to our
compliment of rental facilities. A Park Model is a cabin on wheels, with a main bedroom,
loft and full kitchen, bath and living area. It can sleep up to seven persons.
It even has an electric fireplace and entertainment center! We will also be a
sales outlet for these units which are sweeping the nation. They are great for
summer cabins and getaways. Stop by and take a walk through! |
